Many companies have long used the Southern Poverty Law Center’s hate group list as part of their matching gifts or nonprofit eligibility screening, but recent public scrutiny and shifting federal relationships have prompted many teams to reexamine this practice. This session will give members a chance to share whether and how they’re using SPLC data today, what internal considerations are guiding decisions, and what alternative screening approaches peers are exploring.
